Chirag Safi, T.E.

Mr. Chirag Safi, an Associate Transportation Engineer/Planner is a licensed Traffic Engineer in the State of California with over 5 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic operations, traffic safety and traffic impact studies. Mr. Safi has performed traffic operations analysis at intersections, freeway interchanges, ramp terminals, freeway mainline as well as roundabouts for various transportation planning projects. He has extensively used traffic analysis programs such as TRAFFIX™, Synchro, SIDRA and HCS. He specializes in developing micro-simulation models in VISSIM, SimTraffic and CORSIM. He also has experience on traffic impact studies and signal systems. He received his MS in Civil Engineering-Transportation from Wayne State University. Mr. Safi is a member of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
