Burhan Kocaman

Mr. Kocaman has over 3 years of experience in traffic operations studies, traffic signal timing studies, transit signal priority studies, intersection improvements, traffic signal/signing/striping design. His past experience has involved data collection, design, preparation of CADD plans, specifications and cost estimate of the following intersection improvement projects as well as network modeling, simulation, timing analysis, report writing and implementation of the traffic signal timing projects. As a graduate student researcher, he evaluated existing adaptive control systems strategies through reviewing of existing adaptive control systems, collecting of data from test site, simulating the various adaptive control strategies, and improving existing adaptive control algorithms.
