Dr. Tum Kiattikomol

Dr. Vasin (Tum) Kiattikomol has over 7 years of experience in transportation planning and safety and traffic engineering. He received his doctoral degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and was a transportation researcher at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Kiattikomol has been dedicated in areas of Public Transportation, Traffic Operations, Highway Safety and Crash Analysis, Freight Transportation, Intelligence Transportation Systems (ITS), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He also has substantial experience in statistical software such as SAS and JMP and a solid background in numerous transportation and traffic software programs such as TransCAD, HCS, TRAFFIX, SYNCHRO/SimTraffic, CORSIM, and VISSIM. Dr. Kiattikomol has been a member of Institute of Transportation Engineer (ITE) and ITE’s Freight Mobility Council.
